From A12 (M25 J28)

| Take the B1002/A1023 exit marked to Ingatestone and Mountnessing. Take the first turning at the junction roundabout, then after 50yds take the second exit at a new roundabout onto Widvale road. Follow this through the countryside for two miles until you reach Hutton. Turn left at the mini-roundabout, follow this road into Billericay over a mile or two. Turn left onto Western Road at a set of lights with a petrol station on your left, and then after half a mile left at the next set of traffic lights (you should see the High St to your right). Drive down the hill, cross the railway bridge, then left into Cromwell Avenue at the crest of the next hill.

| Take the B148 marked Dunton Research and Engineering and take the first left at the roundabout. Almost immediately turn right, signposted Little Burstead. Follow this for about half a mile, before taking the first left turn (Rectory Road). Follow this until you enter Little Burstead, whereupon entering the speed limit (on a sharp bend) turn left. Follow this for a couple of miles through the country before entering Billericay on Tye Common road. Go straight on at the traffic lights onto Western Road and then after half a mile left at the next set of traffic lights (you should see the High St to your right). Drive down the hill, cross the railway bridge, then left into Cromwell Avenue at the crest of the next hill.
